The Barn
I had a similar toy when I was young and loved it. My 3 year old granddaughter reacted as I did. It was the first toy, and sometimes the only toy she would play with at our place. She added her ‘My Little Pony’ objects to the rest of the barn animals. I think kids react to the quality of a well built, wooden toy over the multitude of plastic toys around. The Princess Castle
The castle was an even bigger hit than the barn. Both toys would be set up, and I got the privledge of running the barn for the king and queen in the castle. She would send her knights from the castle to the barn, and I would provide them horses. Sometimes she will combine the castle with the barn to make a super set up. The Stable
We added the stable because the barn and castle were such hits. Again, this toy became a favorite. What little girl does not like horses? Now she can take up the entire dining room table with her fold and go world. To this day, after three years, they are still her favorite toys. This would make an excellent present.
